2020 Lexus NX 300h Quick Review

If you’re looking for a fancy, fuel efficient, family friendly vehicle, the 2020 Lexus NX 300h will surely fit the bill. The NX Hybrid comes in two trim levels: 300h and 300h Luxury.

 

The 300h is a luxe, two-row Hybrid that comfortably  seats five people.

Synthetic leather upholstery is standard. Other standard features include dual-zone automatic climate control, an infotainment system with an 8-inch display, Bluetooth, a USB port, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, a Wi-Fi hot spot, an eight-speaker audio system and satellite radio.

 

There’s also a slew of standard safety equipment packed on  the Lexus. The NX comes standard with a rearview camera and Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 which includes  road sign assist,  forward collision warning,  automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, all-speed adaptive cruise control and pedestrian detection. Additional safety tech is available.

 

In terms of cargo space, the NX Hybrid offers 16.8 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 53.7 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down.

 

The NX Hybrid is equipped with a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and three electric motors. The combo produces 194 horsepower. A continuously variable transmission and all-wheel drive are also standard. The NX 300h gets class leading fuel economy ratings at 33 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway.

 

Starting price for the 2020 Lexus NX 300h is $39,420.
